About this opportunity:

Ericsson is hiring a Head of People Customer Unit Verizon, to be the HR leader of the Customer Unit Verizon organization, supporting employees across the US and Canada. In this role, you will lead the People strategy for your client groups, develop and deploy solutions to enable the business, and advise on a wide range of both strategic and day-to-day people matters for a dynamic organization.

What you will do:

Contribute to the business strategy by helping your leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processesIdentify needs, develop solutions, and execute on programs that drive workforce engagement, culture transformation, retention, diversity, and inclusionPlay a key role in enabling strategic workforce planning, including proactively recognizing trends, developing actions to strengthen the talent base, and attaining operational and structural efficienciesPartner with the leadership team of the customer units and support functions to lead change, specifically focusing on transforming the culture and influencing the future of workAssess, develop, and coach senior leadership and team members through use of strategic talent offeringsDevelop strategies to bring fresh talent into the organization, accelerate early career talent development, and enhance leadership skills throughout the organization Provide end to end People support from needs assessment through delivery, and evaluate and improve on implemented solutionsContinue to promote and oversee key processes in performance management, talent planning, learning and development, total rewards and talent acquisition

 

 

The skills you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.8+ years’ experience in HR (People) or related fieldThree years in professional services, preferably as a People Business Partner, supporting sales, in a hi-tech company A track record of results, problem-solving and accountability in a highly matrixed and global organizationA track record of driving and supporting diversity and culture changeDeep and broad knowledge of People practices, principles and procedures based on working closely with strong collaborationStructured with an ability to plan two steps ahead, with well-developed analytical skills and the ability to “connect the dots”A high-energy, outstanding team player who is action-oriented and eager to take on new opportunities alongside an amazing teamA change-driver, that is open minded and supportive of new ways of working, focusing on addressing the intent and needA connector with people on many levels, with a proven ability to create trust, handle conflict resolution, build strong relationships and influence throughout the organizationExperienced in managing projects, including defining scope, driving deliverables, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities

Your Pay

 

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Morristown, New Jersey: $170 - $213K

 

 

STV: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. 

 

 

Your Health
Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of 3 medical plan options, 2 of which are PPO plans requiring employee contributions to the cost of premiums, and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with no premiums for employees. In addition, Ericsson offers dental coverage, employee paid vision coverage, and other company paid physical wellness programs.

 

 

Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s 401(k) plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and up to a 4% company match, leading to a maximum company contribution of 7% annually. Employees will also receive company paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage and paid company short-term and long-term disability benefits. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.

 

 

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided up to 40 days of paid time off per year, including 15 days of accrued annual vacation, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 1 volunteer day. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Those with additional vacation time at the end of the year may sell one week of vacation, equal to a week of pay. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of maternity/medical leave, 6 weeks of paternity or adoption leave at 100% of pay, and medical leave at 100% or 66 2/3% of pay, based on length of service.
