**Team/Role Overview**
The Head of Performance and Risk Analytics will be responsible for the leadership and development of the production supporting our global clients’ Investment Performance and Risk Analytics service. This will include responsibility for ensuring client requirements and deliveries are met accurately and timely.
The role will involve implementing enhanced operational processes and controls to ensure that Performance service operates in a robust and effective manner enabling the teams to provide exceptional service to Citi clients.
**What you’ll do**
+ Leadership of the teams responsible for our Investment Performance and Risk analytics service ensuring a seamless client experience for their operational deliveries and business needs.
+ Build talented client focused teams, proactively encourage employee career development and progression through management processes, appropriate training, and professional development plans.
+ Partner with other global functional leads and data source providers across fund accounting, transaction / asset servicing, reporting and technology to ensure a controlled and scalable operating model exists for the Performance and Risk Analytics client deliveries.
+ Assess new business and client change on their performance & risk analytics, data and reporting requirements against existing business capabilities and make appropriate recommendations and decisions.
+ Evaluate risk and controls, ensuring a robust controls framework is in place, including operational impact of client and legislation changes, ensure compliance to the established control environment.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup and their clients
+ Forge proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, external vendors, offshore partners, technology, client service teams, product partners and other middle office functions.
**What we’ll need from you**
+ Experienced Financial Services professional with multiple years of experience in a client centric role
+ Extensive leadership experience, leading a global performance and/ or risk function either within an Investment Management or Third-party service provider
+ Proven record in influencing and interacting with global partners, building interpersonal relations, and developing global talent is crucial.
+ Experience of delivering on strategic initiatives and driving efficiency for clients is essential.
+ Extensive technical experience in investment performance and attribution, supporting different financial instruments, asset classes and global portfolio structures.
+ Preferred candidate would have professional experience in Investment risk or can demonstrate an understanding of Ex-Ante risk analytical methods and data requirements.
+ Knowledge of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), ideally with experience managing or supporting the verification process.
+ Extensive technical understanding of performance and attribution methodologies and ex-post risk statistics
+ Ability to provide insightful analysis of performance and risk results to client counterparts including performance teams and portfolio managers.
+ Knowledge of Performance and attribution applications, Investment Risk systems alongside data visualisation and reporting tools.
+ Experience working with Factset and Blackrock Aladdin is preferred.
+ Experience of managing and building relationships with third party service providers.
+ CFA, CIPM, IMC Qualification or equivalent.
