EMEA Pricing and Tender Excellence Senior Director

TheEMEA Pricing and Tender Excellence Senior Director will lead the newly formed EMEA Center of Excellence (COE) for Pricing and Tender Excellence in MedTech and will have the the following areas of responsibility:
Firstly, together with the team and in collaboration with the global and local pricing colleagues as well as cross-functional partners, he/she will be responsible for deploying pricing capabilities and ways of working and for supporting with access to the right data, tools and analytics that will allow markets to drive profitable growth. More specifically PTE Senior Director will be responsible for translate global franchise pricing strategies into actionable price guidelines and targets for local execution on market level in EMEA and collaboration with Global Pricing Team to ensure pricing strategies are relevant for EMEA. He/she will lead and maintain pricing analytics and reporting on regional pricing performance to unlock opportunities and monitor progress as well as lead processes (e.g. Win Rooms) and tools (e.g. CPQ). He/she will collaborate with local pricing and business teams to shape pricing strategy and increase price return in a sustainable way and facilitate best practices sharing across the markets.
Secondly, leading the execution of the EMEA Bids and Tenders strategy in line with business unit and country priorities, collaborating with cross functional teams, providing clear subject matter expertise to the country tender offices and teams of bids and tenders experts. Creating, designing and implementing best practice principles to ensure consistency in the application of the operating model across EMEA. The role works closely with multiple internal stakeholders to set the benchmark for tender leads and their teams to drive execution and further maturity in tendering to increase our win ratio. This accountability also encompasses the overall governance of all the tender offices in the region and for evolving the EMEA Bids Tenders “best in class process”.
Thirdly, the role will continue to lead the advancement of the successful EMEA Revenue Assurance strategy. A major responsibility of the role will be to continue to evolve the process and set new standards for revenue collection in contracting by mitigating SGP loss. Continued executive leadership will be required to use progressive methods and technology to support new ways of working and deliver against business i.e. Intelligent Automation and Generative AI to support execution and local implementation of the regional strategy and process.
In addition to the above, EMEA Pricing and Tender Excellence Senior Director will manage COE resources, team as well as budget. He or she will liaise with cross-functional teams to achieve best outcomes (e.g. across SMD COEs, Finance, BUIT etc)

3 Years in Medical Devices Revenue Cycle experience
