Intuit Mailchimp is seeking an exceptional Head of Product Led Growth to spearhead our product-led growth, acquisition, and lifecycle initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will drive a comprehensive strategy that encompasses the experiences for all our SMB and mid-marketcustomers across industries and verticals. In this hands-on leadership role your mission will be to optimize every touchpoint of the customer journey, from initial demand generation and acquisition through sign-up, onboarding, subscriptions and beyond. You'll be a leader of leaders responsible for re-imagining the Customer’s initial journey with Mailchimp to create a bold frictionless customer experience that helps them unlock the next level of value seamlessly.
What you'll bring
● 10+ years of experience working in product led growth, growth hacking, product leadership roles in marketing-technology focused companies or consumer focused tech companies. Experience leading a team of leaders and driving thought leadership through them. Or equivalent experience.● Proven track record of successfully scaling a company and managing teams of leaders and individual contributors. Ability to attract and retain top talent.● Leadership - Leads through constant change and ambiguity, keeping teams highly motivated through ups and downs. Strikes the right balance between shielding the team and creating accountability for success.● Sought after manager, mentor, and coach - Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining world-class product managers and managers of product managers. Past direct reports are passionate about working with them.● Growth mindset - willing to accept feedback and seek ways to get better every day. Embrace a learning mindset that allows you to take risks and redefine failure as learning.● Analytical data driven thinker - Balances data and intuition in driving product decisions● Customer obsessed mindset - The ability to always wear the customer’s hat and be a customer advocate first● Proven track record of delivering results and scaling products to millions of customers● Experience identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals● The ability to work closely with Senior and C-level executives to develop product strategy● Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution● MBA preferred
How you will lead
As our head of Product led Growth● Partner with cross-functional teams spanning technology, marketing & sales and analytics teams to establish the vision and practices of a high-performing growth team.○ Identify and define the big customer-focused product bets that will lead to non-linear value for the customer which in turn leads to growth for the business○ Align C-suite, senior executives, and leaders of all product pillars behind an ambitious growth vision and on how we will make trade-offs across different objectives.○ Establish a hypothesis driven design approach to experimenting. Set up processes to gather the right data, run experiments fast, and build repeatable playbooks for rapid compounding and consistent growth.○ Create always on systems to consistently increase velocity, so the team runs like an autonomous machine that’s constantly improving itself.● Shape the future by defining and executing Mailchimp’s global product-led growth (PLG) strategy, encompassing user attraction, activation, retention, engagement and revenue expansion across our product portfolio.● Build a hyper-personalized experience that brings to life the concept of ‘segment of one’that is inclusive of the needs of small businesses and mid-market businesses, amateurs, and pros, solving simple and complex problems across industries and business verticals.● Design a first-time user experience that effortlessly communicates the value of Mailchimp immediately● Identify opportunities to optimize the customer lifecycle, including activation, onboarding, and cross-sell initiatives.● Work closely with analytics to define an experimentation and measurement strategy that optimizes for long-term success and helps build confidence around predicting winning experiments● Drive rigorous prioritization and investment decisions necessary to deliver your team’s vision and roadmaps● Build and lead an exceptional team of 12+ PMs including managers of PMs. Lead the team with product rigor, customer, and data obsessed decision making at a fast pace. Hold high standards, drive accountability, encourage diverse perspectives and debates -all while not compromising kindness and empathy. Build and sustain a cohesive culture that brings together highly successful groups of people of diverse backgrounds that use strong communication, thought leadership and customer obsession to build world class products.● Promote the health of the product organization by coaching/mentoring, participating in recruiting, and contributing to other product org programs.
