Head of Product Management
Neuberger Berman has recently established a Product Management function within our Global Product Strategy & Development group. We are seeking to appoint our first Head of Product Management for EMEA who will report to the Head of Product Strategy & Development, [Global ex-NA / EMEA & APAC]. The primary purpose of this role is to oversee all lifecycle aspects of Neuberger Berman’s extensive range of European funds (including but not limited to Irish UCITS and QIAIF products, and Luxembourg Part II SICAVs). This role will ensure the alignment of product development and management processes with regulatory standards and commercial strategy, driving the product life cycle from launch, and ensuring market competitiveness. Principal Responsibilities + Lead, define, and maintain the pipeline of product changes, reviews, and product closures for Neuberger Berman’s range of EMEA products (driven by commercial demands and regulatory developments). + Manage the decision-making process, and oversee implementation, of share class launches and fund registrations. + Drive changes to product features and structures to ensure products remain competitive and appropriate to their target market. + Conduct regular analysis of customer, industry, and regulatory activity to recommend strategic changes to existing products. + Act as a thought partner for internal stakeholders regarding potential changes to existing funds, including investment policy changes, fee changes, and regulatory-driven modifications. + Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful product development and management. + Take responsibility strategic product and annual fund reviews. + Oversee product compliance regulatory requirements (PRIIPs, EMT, Consumer Duty). Requirements + Degree qualified or equivalent. + Minimum of [5] years of experience in product management, specifically with cross-border fund solutions. Likely to have had a significantly longer career in financial services. + Strong understanding of UCITS and AIFMD regulations. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong analytical skills and familiarity with IT systems. Experience and Skills + Proven experience in leading product management teams within the asset management industry. + In-depth knowledge of Irish and/or Luxembourg UCITS funds and AIFs. + Demonstrated ability to manage complex products in both the liquid and illiquid markets. + Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving processes. + Collaborative mindset with the ability to navigate cross-functional projects and establish healthy working relationships. _Neuberger Berman is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
