We are seeking a Head of Product Management in the Atlanta GA area for our Residential solutions focused on Single-family, Multi-family power distribution and circuit protection products. Additionally, leading the portfolio into greater Smart Home Energy Management offering. The portfolio includes Miniature Circuit Breakers, Load Center, Metering products, residential surge, electronic breakers and Inhab® Smart Home Energy Solutions. It is part of the Siemens Smart Infrastructure operating company, Electrical Products business unit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of product managers and specialists, including portfolio strategy, product roadmaps, new product introductions, pricing and overall product lifecycle management. This is an excellent role for an experienced product management professional in the electrical industry, or for an individual with an engineering, business marketing or sales background that has a strong aptitude and desire for product portfolio management responsibilities. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, have experience in the electrical industry and have experience successfully leading and motivating teams.

You will make an impact with the following duties:

Portfolio Strategy and Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to obsolescence, ensuring strategic alignment and market relevance. Product Development and Project Oversight: Sponsor and manage product development projects, ensuring timely and successful execution. Financial Performance and Pricing Management: Conduct profitability analysis, manage pricing strategies, and implement interventions to optimize financial outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with various departments and executives, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Team Leadership and Development: Manage and develop the Residential Product Management Team, providing guidance and ensuring performance.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management or Business Marketing 10+ years of experience in professional work environment. 5+ years of experience with the following: Product management, marketing, sales, logistics or R&D experience preferably with electrical or electromechanical products. Proven experience successfully leading and motivating teams. Proven experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) or general project management of hardware and (preferably) software products Strong technical aptitude - ability to interpret, author and edit technical product specifications and other documents. Excellent communication skills - verbal / non-verbal and technical / non-technical. Strong data analysis, problem solving, and presentation skills. Ability to multitask and manage diverse product management staff and activities per a schedule. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (~20%.) Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

Electrical Distribution and Smart Home Expertise: In-depth knowledge of residential electrical distribution products (MCB, load centers, metering) and Smart Home Energy Management solutions. Agile and Data Analytics Proficiency: Experience with Agile methodologies (Jira, etc.) and strong data wrangling and analytics skills (Knime, Tableau). Financial Acumen and Business Decision Making: Demonstrated understanding of financial reporting and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Leadership and Project Management Skills: Experience managing technical or marketing teams, and advanced knowledge of PLM or PMP certification. Supply Chain and International Operations Experience: Familiarity with international logistics, sales and operations planning, 3rd party manufacturing, brand label management, or procurement.

The pay range for this position is $120,540 - $206,640 plus incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
