For decades, our work in Bangladesh has made a significant impact, and we are now looking for a visionary Head of Program Quality and Innovation to lead our efforts in transforming lives across the country.
The Role
Head of Program Quality and Innovation (PQI) is a leadership role that offers a unique opportunity to influence the future direction of the organization’s programs, ensuring they are impactful, innovative, and of the highest quality. This position will play a critical role in shaping the organization's strategic approach to programmatic excellence, fostering a culture of learning and innovation, and driving the organization’s mission forward in a sustainable and scalable way. This position is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs, ensuring they are impactful, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals, values and feminist principles. The Head of Program Quality, and Innovation will drive a culture of continuous learning, data-driven decision-making, and creative problem-solving across the organization’s programmatic work. This role will be an integral part of the Extended Leadership Group (ELG) to drive the visionary efforts of program quality, impact, evidence and innovation and will deputize Director-Business, Partnership and Impact as delegated.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, impact evaluation, and innovation within a development or humanitarian impact context. Post holder will be a visionary leader with a passion for creating sustainable and scalable solutions, and will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of program excellence.
The Head of Program Quality and Innovation (PQI) will lead transformative efforts to enhance program excellence, sustainability, and impact by fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and inclusion. This role requires extensive engagement with stakeholders, leveraging technology and data for evidence-based decision-making. With accountability for risk management, compliance, and capacity building, the Head of PQI will ensure programs remain adaptive to global challenges and aligned with organizational commitment and priorities. They will play a critical role in resource mobilization, knowledge management, and change leadership while collaborating with senior leadership to position the organization as a leader in programmatic.
What we’re looking for
Experienced Leader: Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing long-term strategies that align with organizational goals and drive measurable impact.
Program Quality and Impact Champion: Extensive experience in designing and implementing robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks to enhance program effectiveness.
Innovative Problem-Solver: Strong background in leveraging emerging technologies, data-driven insights, and innovative methodologies also ability to integrate digital transformation, AI, and data visualization tools for evidence-based decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy Expert: Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with donors, partners, and key stakeholders to enhance program reach and sustainability. Experienced in representing organizations in external forums, advocating for program quality, and driving sector-wide change.
Risk and Compliance Leader: Adept at identifying and mitigating program-related risks, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Location: Dhaka (50% travel)
Duration: Two Years
Salary: Monthly consolidated salary range for this role is BDT 287183 - BDT 358979 (may vary based on experience) along with other benefits i.e. Life Insurance, Hospitalization Insurance coverage along with Out Patient Treatment Benefit.
