Head of Protection & Resilience (m/f/d)

About the Job 

The Head of P&R maintains the resilience organisation at AZ Technology and the central Crisis Unit (consisting of central functions and a Board member). He/She co-ordinates all activities in order to ensure group-wide implementation and effectiveness, as well as timely and accurate reporting. The entire area is facing significant increase of regulation, but also management and customer awareness due to surrounding developments (e.g. DORA). The Head of P&R needs to ensure compliance with IT and insurance regulation as well as legal obligations and related Allianz Group requirements of Protection & Resilience Policies.

 

What you do

Run, manage and develop Operational Resilience and Protective Security in accordance with regulatory requirements, business needs, service commitments and the Allianz Protection & Resilience.  Advise on business conduct that is lawful, ethical and in the interest of Allianz's employees, customers, shareholders and business partners Develop, implement and maintain Protection & Resilience guidelines, procedures, controls and trainings designed to maintain AZ Technology compliance with legislation, regulations, codes of practice and contractual agreements according to Group P&R guidelines and adopted to the business needs of AZ Technology as an IT-Multi-Service-Provider-Manager (Resilience Strategy) Develop and maintain a BCM and Disaster Recovery Tracking Program and conduct / coordinate monitoring reviews within business units and central functions, external partners and subcontractors Coordinate and steer P&R activities within all AZ Technology majority owned entities by harmonizing related tasks, procedures and tools across all entities Provide a comprehensive, accurate, timely and cost-effective resilience reporting and advisory service to AZ Technology in accordance with all relevant regulatory controls, best practices and Allianz Group requirements Identify and analyse AZ Technology group-wide BCM-relevant services and processes and enforce establishment of BCM- and crisis response plans, tests and follow-up on test results Co-ordinate and perform annual group wide BCM Lifecycle in accordance with Allianz Group requirements and identify, monitor changes in and advise on areas of regulation which impact the business, balance between cost and efforts of BCM activities and business objectives of AZ Technology Perform follow up on incidents, business interruptions and test failures of crisis response plans. (in alignment with other safeguarding functions as appropriate).

 

What you bring

Relevant market/operational / business experience Min. 10 years in BCM, IT-Disaster Recovery, Crisis Mgmt or Information Security or equivalent function Proven track record as leader in multi-national teams Experience in managing regulatory relationships University degree Business Economics or equivalent Certification as Crisis Manager or BCM Lead Auditor Knowledge of applicable national/international regulation and standards
