Gilbane Development Company is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Public-Private Partnerships (P3) to lead and expand our P3 initiatives in local & state government entities, K-12, and healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in originating and managing large-scale infrastructure projects, developing strategic partnerships, and driving business growth through innovative P3 solutions. This role requires a visionary leader with exceptional skills in project development, financial structuring, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy: Leads the development and execution of the company's P3 strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market opportunitiesProject Development: Oversees the identification, assessment, and development of P3 projects across various sectors, including transportation, civil infrastructure, utilities, and public facilitiesPartnership Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with public agencies, private sector partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful project deliveryFinancial Structuring: Leads the financial structuring and investment activities for P3 projects, including bidding, commercial negotiations, and securing equity investmentsTeam Leadership: Provides executive oversight and support to the project structuring and investment teams, ensuring high performance and achievement of project outcomesMarket Expansion: Identifies and assesses new market opportunities, and develops strategies to enter and succeed in these markets.Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Master’s Degree or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.10-15 years of experience in P3, infrastructure development, finance, or a related field, with a strong track record of successful project deliveryOr equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Extensive knowledge of P3 procurement and commercial structuresStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent financial acumen and experience in structuring complex financial transactionsExceptional communication and negotiation skillsAbility to build and maintain strategic partnershipsProven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional engineering license or certificationExperience working with public agencies and understanding of public sector procurement processesFamiliarity with regulatory environments in the United States

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    
For New York City this ranges from $225,000- 300,000 plus benefits and retirement program.

For Rhode Island this ranges from $180,000 - $250,000 plus benefits and a retirment program.

For Massachusetts this ranges from $200,000 - $280,000 plus benefits and a retirement program.
