Responsibilities Make an impact Technical and disciplinary management of the quality team (QM and QA) for all KUKA Robotics sites outside of China. Design and implement new processes and standards across the entire quality system. Establish and enforce quality standards, testing materials and products to ensure quality. Maintain product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies, procedures, and government requirements. Find methods to minimize waste and boost efficiency. Schedule and assign employees to meet quality assurance operational requirements and follow up on work results. Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to prepare product and process quality reports. Prepare the quality assurance budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions. Recruit and select candidates, onboard and train them, assign tasks, coach and counsel employees, and manage disciplinary actions to achieve quality assurance human resources objectives.  Manage risk for product business, negotiate quality assurance agreements with customers, handle warranty management, ensure documentation and CE process compliance, and oversee hazardous goods and material compliance. Application Requirements What you need to succeed Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field. Over 10 years of senior leadership experience in an international context and at least 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance and management. Knowledge of relevant quality management methods and their operational application, with experience in conducting (project) audits, assessments, and project reviews. Expertise in risk and emergency management as well as common quality assurance methods (Pareto, Kaizen, Ishikawa, 5M method, fault tree analysis). Experience in conducting (project) audits, assessments, and project reviews, with lead auditor experience being desirable. Competent demeanor in negotiations with customers and suppliers to effectively represent company interests. Strategic and visionary thinking combined with strong execution and leadership abilities. Confident command of written and spoken English, additional language skills being advantageous. Willingness to travel (30%).
