**Job Description**
Are you ready to set the global standard for quality and safety in our Refrigeration & AC Controls Division (RAC), while navigating the complexity of a global organization and driving results across a diverse matrix of stakeholders?
We are seeking an experienced and committed leader to drive our clear focus on Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) initiatives, reporting directly to the VP of Supply Chain.
With your up-to-date knowledge about QEHS within in a global industrial context, your mission will be to ensure high customer satisfaction - both internally and externally - and business efficiency. You will achieve this by setting a high standard for Quality performance, coaching our Quality teams, and by supporting the implementation of approved quality management systems and EHS processes across the division.
In close collaboration with factory leadership, the product lines, and QEHS teams, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global QEHS strategy.
The leadership team of RAC and RAC Supply Chain are strongly connected to Nordborg in Denmark, but the exact location of the role can be discussed.Travel is expected—20-40% annually—to factories, customers, suppliers, and other Danfoss sites.
**Job Responsibilities**
As a member of the RAC Supply Chain leadership team, you will collaborate, provide ideas, and address challenges that support the goal of driving profitable growth. You will take overall responsibility for the Quality and EHS performance of the business, while providing clear guidance and direction across the organization.
Additionally, responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Providing guidance and collaborating with factory leaders to ensure the production of safe and sustainable products, meeting quality obligations towards customers and regulators globally, addressing risks, and achieving goals through efficient processes.
+ Cooperating with factory leaders to ensure the factory Quality teams possess the necessary skills and competencies and supporting their development when needed.
+ Developing and maintaining QEHS governance models, tools, and processes to empower both QEHS leaders and operational staff to work efficiently and make informed decisions.
**Background & Skills**
As the ideal candidate, you hold a commercial or technical university degree (or equivalent) and have extensive experience and a proven track record in QEHS. You also have a demonstrated history of leadership in Supply Chain Operations or QEHS within large global organizations, operating effectively within a matrix structure and with multiple stakeholders.
Your leadership excels in guiding teams, inspiring collaboration, and effectively managing stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organization. With a flexible mindset, committed to continuous improvement, you take a results-driven approach, focused on maintaining a "quality-first" mindset and driving continuous improvement.
Other required qualifications include:
+ Advanced analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and root cause analysis.
+ Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, PFMEA, process audits, PPAP, and Lean..
+ In-depth knowledge of engineering, large-scale industrial production, and Industry 4.0.
+ Ability to integrate QEHS requirements into modern manufacturing processes
+ Cross-cultural understanding and excellent communication skills.
+ Fluency in both oral and written English is required.
