Job Title: Head of Reception

Salary: £26,000.00 per year

Location: Cathcart and Winn, Surrey branch

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week, opening times of the Practice is 8am - 7pm Mon - Fri and 8.30am - 4pm on Saturdays; Flexible shift pattern over opening times and Saturday cover required.

We are looking for an experienced, pro-active associate to join our friendly team as a head of reception

Your role and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive client care experience, and preferably leadership duties, within the veterinary (or similar) industry.

We are looking for someone that is able to lead by example to promote positive, open communication across all teams and go above and beyond for our clients.
This role will require extensive communication with clients, staff, the wider team and other businesses by telephone, face-to-face, email and possibly some good, old-fashioned letter writing, so you must be confident and competent across all.

Other duties to include, but not limited to:

Working closely with senior managers in the clinical, marketing, financial and human resources teams to deliver and promote practice objectives.To manage, motivate and support the reception team in providing professional services to all clients.Ensuring practice GDPR complianceAid in recruitment, induction and training of staffComplaint and feedback responseproduce a monthly report to update the senior team on departmental activityAppropriate management of consultation and surgical diaryTo ensure that strategic objectives, as set by the clinical directors, are delivered, with adherence to budget figures.
