Your Role

The Head of Regional Growth will be expected to have exceptional regional connections, possessing an in-depth understanding or experience of working within specific areas of Fedcap's delivery footprint: South Central, South West, North West, Tees Valley, West Midlands, Wales and Scotland. You will demonstrate a nuanced understanding of employability, health, justice and education markets alongside expertise in building and maintaining executive level strategic relationships with pertinent and influential stakeholders including within Local Authorities, Integrated Care Boards and VCSE partners. 

You will play a key role in influencing regional and national growth strategies, identifying, pursuing and securing new opportunities, help win bids, and ensure that Fedcap’s influence is felt not just through services delivered but through a genuine presence and engagement that drives sustainable social and economic impact. 

Your Responsibilities 

Strategic Growth: Drive complex, high-value growth opportunities across regions, executing regional strategies aligned with national priorities.  Stakeholder Influencing: Engage, influence and advocate for high-profile stakeholders across regions and sectors to create opportunity and innovation aligned to practice areas (Health, Employability, Education, Economic Development).  Business Development: Source and utilise data and intelligence to unlock new markets for Fedcap’s practice areas and or initiate complex, cross-region partnerships, inclusive of Corporate relationships. Generate, own and deliver a pipeline of high revenue opportunities; collaborating with Head of Bids, Commercial team colleagues and wider Fedcap Subject Matter Experts to execute winning tenders Leadership: Support and mentor Strategic Partnerships Managers by sharing best practices, advising on approaches to influencing stakeholders, and tackling complex challenges.

Your Skills & Experience

Proven experience in partnership development, relationship management, or business development in a comparable sector Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify creative solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Knowledge of local and national agendas in relation some or all of the following: employment, health, welfare, education, justice, veterans, and economic development. Proven ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders. Ability to travel extensively across national geographies  Experience of writing and or pitching proposals to new audiences virtually and in person Experience of driving winning central/regional governmental tender responses
