Head of Sales

JOB SUMMARY
In this role, the Head of Sales will drive sales strategies that make a real impact on Fresenius Medical Care Korea's presence in the medical device market. From planning and executing targeted sales initiatives to nurturing relationships with key clients, this position is about making sure the company’s sales goals aren't just met but surpassed. The Head of Sales will also work across departments to stay on top of market trends and find new ways to grow in a highly competitive industry

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES


Strategic Sales Planning:

Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with corporate goals, with a focus on expanding market share and maximizing revenue in the healthcare and medical device sectors.Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to ensure strategic alignment and adaptability.


Key Account Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and major healthcare providers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored solutions.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain Management to ensure timely delivery and optimal support for product launches, proposals and renewals.Coordinate with technical teams to provide customers with precise product knowledge and ensure compliance with medical device regulations.


Sales Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.Foster a culture of accountability and excellence, providing regular feedback and guidance to drive individual and team success.


Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:

Conduct ongoing analysis of the competitive landscape and gather intelligence on emerging trends within the medical device industry.Identify and capitalize on market opportunities and implement strategies to mitigate competitive threats.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Establish robust sales monitoring and reporting processes to track sales performance against targets.Analyze key performance indicators, such as conversion rates and account growth, to optimize sales effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.


Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:

Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant local and international regulations, including health and safety standards, medical device regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.Coordinate with the regulatory team to stay updated on any changes affecting the industry.

JOB QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).At least 15 years of experience in sales management or a similar role within the healthcare or medical device industry, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.In-depth knowledge of the medical device sector, including regulatory requirements, industry trends, and healthcare procurement processes. Familiarity with dialysis-related products and services is a plus.Exceptional ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms in contracts and agreements with healthcare providers and other partners.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and persuasive manner to both internal teams and external stakeholders.Ability to navigate a fast-paced, highly competitive environment with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges and market dynamics.
