Mobile Compliance Services specialises in statutory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and consultancy services to ensure buildings adhere to both statutory and legislative compliance standards. Our comprehensive suite of services across various critical areas including:

 

Asbestos Management: Ensuring safe identification management, control, and removal Air Quality Management: Addressing issues such as fire damper maintenance, KFCs, and Indoor Air Quality Electrical Safety: Conducting both Fixed Wire Testing and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Fire Safety: Performing thorough Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Maintenance, and necessary remedial actions Water Hygiene: Implementing measures to maintain and improve water quality across client portfolios across UK

 

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the sector and the ability to build strong relationships with end customers. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our single-line services both internally and externally, ensuring we continue to meet and exceed our clients' needs and growth aspirations.

 

Main Duties

Develop a sales strategy which sets up the division for continual success and growth for both internal and external markets. Create innovative solutions with a robust value proposition for the Compliance offering Cost leadership, including maintaining operating profits across the division including index increases. Build a team to strategically to generate new business & growth – against and drive the sales targets, as well as working towards the overall goals of the company and MITIE Group Maximise opportunities for new business and to lead the business development process and negotiations with the customer/ client in order to win profitable contracts Source, lead and manage UK new business development and opportunities for compliance service lines  To provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the sales team including the estimating function To liaise with the wider business sales team on tenders are based on a proper assessment of potential risk and liability for the Company, including a review of the contractual terms that will apply if the contract is awarded To review with business sales team the correct follow-up of submitted tenders to determine our competitive position in the relevant markets and services To represent MITIE on presentations to prospective clients for new business To gather intelligence on competitors to ensure we remain cost competitive in the compliance market To liaise with other accounts and Group functions to maximise all business opportunities To ensure the Company Health & Safety policy is adhered to and to direct and manage the contracts in line with the H&S Policy and requirements of the management system, including monitoring and review To ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and be instrumental in leading and implementing the procedures and instructions with attention to the areas of responsibility.

 

What we are looking for

Experience of working in a management role within a Sales environment, specifically the role will require considerable people management skills, influencing with clients, internal operational teams and 3rd parties across the group Self-motivated team player able to work on own initiative whilst interfacing with the senior management, operational teams, accounts, TE team and clients. Previous experience of working within a compliance sector role is desirable Experience of Contractual negotiations when setting up contracts and agreements. You will need to understand and take responsibility for the fact that this role is pivotal to the successful delivery of the business for it's growth plans. You will have strong organisational and time management skills and be able to multi-task effectively You will have good leadership skills, be customer focused, forward thinking and professional You will have excellent communication skills, a “can do” attitude with an eye for detail and be able to transmit and encourage that attitude Budget management, financial control and working to financial targets.
