The Position

Head of Sales leads and develops the Sales Team across all Business Areas in Roche Diagnostics Slovensko.  He/she is managing the sales operations across all Business Areas in Roche Diagnostics Slovensko according to the overall business strategy and is establishing commercial priorities and guaranteeing the strategic focus with the right resource allocation.
He/she is driving business success by defining and implementing the local sales plans under the condition of a sustainable business model based on innovation and efficiency.

The Head of Sales reports to the Country Manager and is part of the Affiliate Leadership Team. He/she collaborates with several other functions within the Affiliate, such as Marketing, Customer Service, Finance and Legal/Compliance, as well as with Regional Teams and Roche Pharma.

Career Opportunities and Challenges

Achieve quantitative (Sales, Profitability, Accounts Receivables, and other KPIs) and qualitative objectives, through internal and external resources mobilization

Develop Consultative Sales Process with the objective of integrated solution selling, incl. high medical value parameters and digital products as a basis to enable confident healthcare decisions and to improve care along patient journeys

Contribute to the achievement of the company profitability objectives (deal calculation, cost management)

Lead and develop the team according the People Leadership Commitments and in line with our Operating Principles

Translate local business strategy into operational sales plans

Establish commercial priorities, assuring business focus and the right resource allocation

 Implement and monitor necessary activities to meet the strategic KPIs; if needed take corrective actions

Pro-actively address in alignment with LT new business opportunities and possible lab consultancy projects

Build and maintain best-in-class working relationships with customers and business partners

Act as primary contact person for E/L IKAM community

Ensure effective communication between Marketing, Service, Market Access, Finance, LTO

Ensure effective Sales Force steering, and development of the team

Respect the compliance with all relevant Roche guidelines and policies and ensure the compliance of the Sales team

Who you are

University degree in Life Science, ideally combined with MBA

You have 5+years experience in Sales Management in Healthcare Sector or delivering complex IT and tech solutions

Business acumen

English fluent, Slovak or Czech language on a native level

Sound strategic thinking and capability to translate it into clear tactical plans

Proven ability and experience with managing complex environment whilst making information based decisions

Proactive, dynamic, result-driven

Proven convincing and negotiation skills

Proven people management competencies and solid interpersonal and teamwork skills

Salary starts from 4000 EUR gross/month. Final salary will depend on the level of experience, skills and qualifications.
