Context
▪ In 2024, the Industrial Solutions & Projects Business Group will separate from the Nexans Group to
become an independent company.
▪ Our future company, which will become a reality at the end of 2024, boasts double-digit growth,
prospects for expansion in sectors at the heart of the energy and industrial transition, with an
international presence close to our customers.
▪ We manufacture and design cables and complex solutions for our industrial customers. With a
balanced presence between Western Europe and Asia, and recent investments in Poland and
the United States, our human-scale company is a local player with a global reach.
▪ Over the course of this year, we will be working together to define our identity, values and
working methods in line with our culture, our size and our ambitions, while building on our centuryold industrial culture, the solidity of our technical skills and our proximity to our customers. Speed,

▪ As part of our separation, we need to set up our own support teams for the central functions:
Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Purchasing and Legal. More than 50 positions
are being created to form new, autonomous teams.

Purpose
▪ The Head of SAP Domain role is to manage all SAP implementations of the company (4 different
implementations are used in the subsidiaries for a full scope of FI/CO, Sales, Logistics, PP, QM, PM,
MM, Cable specific features, …). In this scope he has to maintain the configuration and to
manage the alignment with the business strategy and to suggest development scenarios for the
Information System which are consistent with the specified goals and processes.
Areas of responsibility
In this context, the missions of the Head of SAP are:
▪ Define the strategy and roadmap and ensure their deployment
▪ Lead studies to select new solutions
▪ Establish appropriate business models to deploy and support the defined roadmap
▪ Ensure compliance of solutions with business needs and information system standards
▪ Select suppliers and manage the execution of contracts with them
▪ Ensure the effective resolution of incidents and problems
▪ Ensure the interoperability of the SAP elements with the rest of the information system
▪ Define and monitor performance indicators of its scope and implement corrective action plans
▪ Ensure the implementation of solutions uniformly across the Group, promote the adoption of
these solutions by users where appropriate
▪ Prepare the budget, particularly in terms of resources and means and ensure adequate
monitoring throughout the year to achieve the objectives
▪ Contribute to technological monitoring and propose areas for evolution of existing solutions
▪ Internal Relationships: Collaborates with business leaders
▪ External relations: Interacts with external providers and software solution providers
Position sizing
▪ The Head of SAP Domain reports to the IT Director
Required skills and qualifications
▪ Master’s Degree in major business school or engineering school or top-class University,
▪ Experience of 10+ years
▪ Mastery of the SAP applications (including Cable Industry Solution if possible)
▪ Expertise in its SAP field
▪ Expertise in SAP project management
▪ Autonomy in the administration and maintenance with the assistance of contractors or vendor
services,
▪ Excellent demonstrated customer service skills
▪ Effective learning skills,
▪ Works well in a team environment,
▪ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills,
▪ Provides leadership in support of the internal customers’ strategic decisions. Helps customer to
envisage new IS Solutions, fosters partnerships and creates value propositions
▪ Proven communication skills,
▪ Problem-solving skills, on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of
information and reports.
