Responsibilities Make an impact As Head of Software LBM & Vision Systems (m/f/d), you'll have global responsibility for both customer projects and continuous development of our Software Applications LBM & Visions Systems. LBM, our Load Building Manager, is the software which splits the whole order into pallets and after then creates the stacking pattern. This is not only one of the key components of the RowPaQ cell, but of the entire AcPaQ solution. In the beginning you will focus on the “Guardian” which is a vision system in the RowPaQ cell to check the quality of the products when they come off the palletizing robot. This makes sure they are in the right position and not damaged. You'll disciplinary manage the LBM and Vision Systems teams in close collaboration with the Technical Leads, focusing on strategic resource allocation and streamlined efforts. Your commitment to excellence will ensure efficiency and innovation, guiding approximately 23 engineers to achieve the best outcomes. In employee appraisals and performance management meetings, you ensure that you and your team have a clear view of the next steps and long-term milestones. Your role is pivotal in maintaining profitability, supporting a diverse range of robot applications and establish longterm Partnerships with external companies to accelerate execution. Application Requirements What you need to succeed Your background is rounded off by at least 5 years of management experience, ideally also in the management of remote and international teams. You communicate openly, effectively and consistently with all stakeholders. You have an proven technical background in Software and Vision Systems in the Automation environment, and you will enhance this with communication, negotiation and presentation skills. You’ve the willingness to bear cost centre responsibility and an economic view as well as sensitivity for it. You will lead the way and be a key driver of Software development in the field of Robotic Applications and encourage motivation in your team. The ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment is a matter of course for you. Experience in implementing new concepts and supporting them is needed Fluency in German and English
