Manage the Nokia IT SRE Platform Engineering Team Manage a team located across multiple time zones Focus on reducing lifecycle friction by defining SLO, SLI, SLA, & SRE with key stakeholders Ensure Cloud services meet their availability target Use software and automation rather than human toil to accomplish availability target and velocity Act as a partner engineering team to the Managed Service operations team Engineer processes and solutions that are automatable Focus on toil reduction through automation Work with team to build a self-service platform Provide full transparency so that users can see their metrics on our service Design efficient, secure, adaptable, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions (data, networking, application) Drive all technical design and execution activities for moving existing on-premise infrastructure, server workloads, data and applications to the cloud IaaS and PaaS architectures. Communicate with senior leaders regarding the architecture, discuss problems and recommend solutions and improvements. Interact and work with application and business team members to provide the optimal environment for applications to deliver business functionality. Introduce and develop Infrastructure automation in the environment including IAC, CI/CD pipelines, and automated configuration management.
