Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $192,800.00 - $321,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Position Overview

RapidScale is entering a pivotal phase of growth as we transform into a solution-led, outcomes-driven hybrid cloud managed services provider. We are seeking a seasoned operator to lead global strategy and enablement, with a mandate to drive automation, margin improvement, and scalable delivery models that enhance both customer experience and financial performance.

This leader will initially focus on building a world-class healthcare services delivery engine, leveraging their experience in EHR hosting, cloud migrations, and ITSM/ITIL frameworks to meet the complex needs of healthcare clients. Over time, this role will also expand to include delivery strategy across other verticals—working cross-functionally to develop scalable, industry-aligned offerings that support growth in markets like financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and execute a verticalized delivery strategy, beginning with healthcare and expanding into other regulated industries.Serve as force multiplier to the existing Operations leadership team, enhancing the team’s collective impact by adding fresh perspective to institutional knowledgeBuild a scalable, automation-driven operations model that improves gross margins while maintaining world-class SLAs and customer satisfaction.Implement ITIL-based best practices and standard operating procedures across support, incident, change, and capacity management functions.Drive continuous improvement across systems (e.g., ServiceNow), metrics (e.g., NPS, utilization), and operational workflows to unlock performance and scale.Optimize vendor engagement and partner management strategies to improve service quality and reduce cost of delivery.Build and lead a globally distributed team, creating a high-performing culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and agility.Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level clients, helping shape service transformation roadmaps and ensuring delivery alignment with business outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 12 years’ experience in a related field (i.e. cloud services, infrastructure, or managed IT, with a proven track record in service delivery, operations, and P&L ownership.) The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 10 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 7 years’ experience in a related field; or 16 years’ experience in a related field7+ years’ experience in a management or leadership roleDeep expertise in the healthcare market, including cloud-hosted Epic/EHR environments, compliance/regulatory standards, and healthcare IT transformation.Demonstrated ability to scale delivery organizations through automation, tooling, and workflow optimization.Experience implementing and maturing ITSM/ITIL frameworks (ServiceNow expertise strongly preferred).Track record of reducing cost of revenue and improving operational KPIs through vendor negotiation, delivery model optimization, and architecture modernization.Experience launching or scaling service delivery for other industries (e.g., financial services, manufacturing, government) a strong plus.Proven success leading globally distributed teams in high-growth, high-change environments.Excellent executive presence and communication skills, with a strong ability to influence across internal and customer C-suites.
