Head of Supplier Management

This role at Marex would see ownership of supplier management, outsourcing and Suppliers risk management across the Marex Group. For more information visit www.marex.com (http://www.marex.com/) Role Summary This role involves establishing a Suppliers Risk Management (TPRM) capability that aligns with best practices and regulatory expectations. The key responsibilities include designing a Supplier Management framework, developing a roadmap, creating a timeline, and designing a target operating model were possible leveraging existing structures, capabilities and resources. Responsibilities + Lead Implementation of the Supplier Management lifecycle and develop a roadmap to improve existing processes and systems. Ensure that industry best practices are incorporated throughout this enhancement process + Design and implement upfront impact assessment for all Supplier services, both intra-group and external, ensuring consistent identification of Critical Outsourcing. + Following an impact and risk assessment, create a proportional risk treatment criterion across all other aspects of the Supplier Management lifecycle: contracting, monitoring, oversight, concentration, and exit management + Create and maintain an inventory of all Supplier services identifying criticality and risk profiles. This inventory should act as the Outsourcing register with procedures for periodically shared with the relevant regulators. + Ensure all Marex affiliates comply with outsourcing and relevant Suppliers regulations. + Design and implement Supplier Management and Outsourcing training to ensure consistent identification of, criticality, risk and outsourcing identification + Ensure the Supplier Management framework is consistent with industry standards and best practices. + Update all policy and procedures to reflect enhancements and ensure consistent roles and responsibilities across the Supplier Management Lifecycle + Ensure Supplier Management processes are operating effectively, balancing the commercial and risk agendas + Design and implement Supplier Management due diligence and risk assessment criteria, consistent with Operational Risk procedures, considering all operational risks relevant to Third- parties. + Create and monitor the application of a Supplier Management/ Procurement Strategy setting out Marex's approach to acquiring products and services aligned with broader organisational goals. + ESG - implementation Suppliers assessment capability. Collaboration with the relevant ESG stakeholders to define and document requirements and associated outcomes + Management of Material Outsourcing framework, processes, and governance + Ownership of other Suppliers or supplier related matters, as required. + At all times complying with the FCA's Code of Conduct + To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility + To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required + To escalate risk events immediately. Skills and Experience + Possess knowledge and practical experience in Suppliers Risk systems and associated framework implementation + Have experience of Supplier negotiations and Supplier performance management + Demonstrate practical experience in implementing a comprehensive top-level oversight of monitoring frameworks for Suppliers + Possess detailed and in-depth knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines including outsourcing and operational resilience requirements. + Have experience of working in a regulated industry (minimum 5 years) + Knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P), particularly in a financial services environment + Familiar with supplier management systems + Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of risk and compliance requirements associated with this. + Have experience of working within a three lines of defence organisation structure.
