Purpose of Role:

To safely develop, implement and sustain Supply Chain strategies and programmes for Weir Minerals Malaysia with full responsibility for functions relating to Customer Service, Planning and SIOP, Purchasing, and Logistics and Warehousing.

Key Responsibilities:

· Focus Area:

The job holder will have the responsibility to ensure that all supply chain activities and processes work together to supply products or services across the global supply chain to both internal and external customers.

· Focus Area:

Responsible to develop and implement supply chain strategies to maximise efficiencies and best practices in Weir Minerals Malaysia, focusing on driving excellent customer service management, strong planning and control of goods inward plus supply to customers (on-time and in full). This includes the full SIOP process including demand forecast management, production scheduling, purchasing and materials management. Warehouse and logistics will also be within the Supply Chain function.

· Focus Area:

The job holder is responsible for working with all WMM key stakeholders including Supply Chain, Operations, Projects, Technical, Finance and HR to identify and establish appropriate links between all key functions to ensure internal and external customer requirements are being met.

To establish and drive key performance indicators to accurately measure the performance of supply chain and to drive continuous improvements.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

A proven results driven track record in the area of managing Supply Chain teams, demonstrating strong achievements in all areas including SIOP, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics management. Ability to create and implement clear Supply Chain strategies as well as drive Supply Chain operational excellence and best practices. Experience with managing internal and external customers including commercial and pricing functions.Must have the ability to work with and influence both internal and external key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Graduate, preferably with a relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum 8~10 years' experience in multinational companies.
