We are currently recruiting a Head of Supply Chain (M/F/X) .

The position is at Liège site, Odyssea Pharma, in Belgium. Under the direct responsibility of the Plant General Manager, this leadership role has a direct impact on AbbVie Liège’s ability to efficiently meet commitments to customers and client organizations.

The primary function is to actively develop and oversee the supply plan of finished goods while ensuring that direct materials are planned and procured to meet the manufacturing schedule, optimizing inventory levels on site.

This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure material readiness in compliance with GMP requirements and to implement process improvements to build the organization for the future.

 Your responsibilities are:

Conduct site monthly Sales & Operations (S&OP) in alignment with Global Supply PlanningLead the execution of Global Supply Chain activities and supervise the logistics team in charge of warehousing and distribution. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, liaising with the Procurement team who negotiate contracts.Oversee logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting.Implement process improvements and technological innovations to enhance efficiency.Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.Represent the Supply Chain team and provide a high level of service to internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, Quality, Global Supply Planning, Operations Commercial Development).Manage and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Own and maintain material planning and master data in the ERP system.Develop and maintain relevant site-level SOPs.Investigate exceptions to determine root causes, implement CAPA’s and drive closure.Ensure compliance of all Supply Chain and Purchasing operations with all relevant GMP, regulatory requirements and corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.Support Internal and External Audits as required.Drive EHS, Quality and AbbVie culture.Support risk analysis and “what if” scenarios.
Qualifications

You are the profile we are looking for if you have:

10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain management (production planning and scheduling, material management, logistics, distribution). Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with an understanding of manufacturing activities and GMP concepts preferred.5+ years of proven people leadership experience.APICS certification or equivalent.Excellent communication and leadership abilities in French and in English.Experience with SAP systems. Ability to establish good working relationships with cross-functional teams while delivering targets. The role involves collaboration with many other functional groups within AbbVie, influencing and shaping business system development strategy.Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.High level of attention to details to ensure accuracy and total compliance with procedures.Results driven striving to meet all targets and metric standards.Strong analytical skills, with a track record of improving supply chain processes.
