Role Description: Domain Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the overall successful delivery of products within the Domain, coordinating across product teams, and ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Product delivery leads manage the resources and drive efficient execution to deliver high-quality products.

Purpose of Role:

Domain Delivery Lead is accountable for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and aligning with key business stakeholders to ensure that product requirements are met. They oversee resource allocation, including assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members, and monitor progress to ensure milestones are achieved. Additionally, they are responsible for mitigating risks, resolving issues, and maintaining overall quality and efficiency in product delivery processes. The Domain Delivery Lead plays a crucial role in driving successful outcomes and end-user satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration.

Continuously evaluating and refining delivery processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and qualityEnsuring that products are delivered within the agreed-upon timelines, meeting end-user expectations and business objectivesFacilitating effective collaboration between different product teams, functions, and key stakeholders involved in the product delivery processReviewing key artefacts to ensure that they are of sufficient quality and end-to-end solution is documented and maintainedIdentifying and managing potential risks that could impact product delivery, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring contingency plans are in placeEfficiently allocating resources, budgets, and tools, to optimise productivity and ensure a successful delivery cycleManagement of third parties / implementation partners, including contract / Statement of Work reviewsSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Metrics

On-time delivery: the percentage of products delivered within the agreed-upon timelinesAverage time taken from the start to the completion of product delivery to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.End-user satisfaction (satisfaction levels with the delivered products and identify areas for improvement)Resource utilisation (budget, personnel, and tools, to ensure efficient allocation and maximise productivity)Number of defects or issues encountered in delivered products to evaluate quality control processes

Key Interactions/ Stakeholders

Collaborating closely with Product Domain Leads to understand product vision, roadmap, and requirements, ensuring alignment between product strategy and delivery activitiesInteracting with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and analysts, to facilitate collaboration, manage dependencies, and ensure smooth execution of product delivery tasksEngaging with key stakeholders, such as business, architects, and end-users, to gather feedback, provide updates, and manage expectations, ensuring that the delivered product meets their needs and aligns with business objectivesFacilitating agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the Domain delivery teamsPromoting a culture of learning and improvement by gathering feedback, analysing delivery performance metrics, and implementing iterative changes to enhance the product delivery process

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: ·

Functional: 

Strong understanding of product management principlesProficiency in agile methodologies such as Scrum or KanbanAbility to engage and manage relationships with various stakeholdersProficiency in project management principles, including creating project plans, managing timelines, and mitigating risks

Technical:

Expertise in SAP Supply Chain Solution (MM, Procurement, IM, EWM, TM) with integration knowledge of SRM solutions like Coupa, ARIBA, and S&OP tools such as Kinaxis.Strong understanding of continuous integration and deployment practices, tools, and methodologiesAbility to analyze data, metrics, and performance indicatorsFamiliarity with quality assurance and testing processes, methodologies, and toolsProficiency in using and leveraging agile project management tools and technologiesStrong understanding of the technical aspects related to the product being delivered

Methodologies:

Agile methodologies such as Scrum or KanbanContinuous integration and deployment practicesQuality assurance and testing methodologies
