Head of Talent & Regional HRBP Northern Europe

This role is responsible for +1000 employees in 14 countries for Euler Hermes Northern Region. You will lead the NEUR talent management strategy to attract, develop, retain and deploy talent to drive the region's strategic business goals, aligned to the Group EH & Allianz TM framework. Responsible for advising the Regional HR Director, Head of Region, BU Head's of HR, CEO's and Managers in the NEUR Regional team in Talent Management issues.

 

Your main tasks
Develop in-depth understanding of Regional Talent Management aligned with digital, cultural & disruptive leadership transformation and aligning with the Group policy and timelines.

Implement Group HR policies, practices and systems whilst ensuring each company complies with employment legislation of their respected local country.
 

Talent Development

Drive successful Country & Regional Talent Dialogues - provide input and guidance to regional, local and group (functional) succession plans, individual developmental action plans e.g. whilst ensuring the Group's milestones and key topics. Follow up on development plans in the countries. Work with local Heads of HR and CEO's to make sure action plans are implemented and feedback is given. Liaise with the senior Regional team as NEUR HRBP advising on talent management & acquisition.  Coordination of the Northern Europe Leadership Programes. Align acquisition, development, performance management and diversity initiatives to close identified short, mid- and long-term talent gaps.
 

Learning & Development:

Develop future skills, embrace life-long learning mindset & create purposeful employee experience, following and aligning with Group initiatives.                                                Support for NEUR workforce planning implementation (skill mapping, learning paths..).                                                                                                                                                    Provide advice in the areas of organizational excellence and TM (planning, acquiring and on-boarding, assessing, developing performance). Excellence in Management (plan, organize and coordinate). Talent Programs (plan, organize and coordinate). Learning Friday's, functional trainings e.g. (plan, organize and coordinate). Lead program follow up ensuring compliance. IDD program follow up ensuring compliance.
 

Recruitment 

Responsibility for the recruitment, onboarding of AEs.  Develop engagement, talent attraction & recruitment strategies through various channels.    Overseeing of local recruitment & selection process.
 

Operational activities-other

Acting as HRBP for regional staff.       AES (coordinating all activities with the countries HR Managers, EDC file, deadlines, communications e.g.). Procurement process related activities for all purchases (trainings, Learning Friday's e.g.). Promote employer branding initiatives including CSR, social media advocacy e.g. Driving Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and meeting diversity targets on the NEUR level. Continuously adapt & digitalize HR processes, tools & policies to be more Agile.      

 

Your challenges

In-depth knowledge of talent in all countries in the region. Managing in a matrix environment. Build relationships and have regular interaction with Group HR and local HR functions. Act as an equal partner with regional leaders and country CEOs. Balancing the Group/Regional/local needs.
 

Your skills/experiences

University degree in HR and/or CIPD qualified. Proven experience in HR Talent Management area. Financial Services work experience. Experience working on a global project. Ability to manage and deliver projects across NEUR. Ability to give advice and guidance to managers whilst adopting a hands on approach. Fluent in English and in one other NEUR language is a plus. SAP Success Factors knowledge. Able to leverage technology to drive efficiency. Strong planning and time management skills. Ease in handling various data from different systems and sources. Advanced Excel skills.
