Our research and development (R&D) is looking for a new manager. Join our team where we bring out the best in people in our effort to make a difference. As the Head of Technical Product Management of Systems, you are accountable for driving design and maintenance of system-related and electronical products . You manage a team with the goal to maintain and improve Wellspect medical device systems on the market today. As part of the R&D management team you will actively participate in developing the whole R&D function. We think that you have a great understanding and knowledge around systems and digital products. You have either managed people before or been a Tech/Project Lead and would be challenged by becoming the leader of our competent team. An interest in developing people and making a difference will be your strongest asset in this role. **Responsibilities** : + Lead the Design and Maintenance of Systems-team of approximately 6-7 people through planning, execution and management of all operational aspects and budget + Plan, organize, direct and control the System and Digital products-team within appropriate guidelines, policies and regulations. + Contribute actively to project progress by adequate staffing, recruiting, competence building, and employee development. + Source and lead external partnerships + Coach the team to manage the technical maintenance for the System and Digital products, over their life cycles. + Active member of the R&D management team in strategic planning, overall budgeting and staffing, and execution of these to ensure delivery of the organization’s responsibilities. **Qualifications / Background:** + Academic background in engineering (bachelor’s or master’s degree) preferably within the field of electronics. + Several years of experience in product development or maintenance of medical devices. + Experience in working with systems is an advantage. + Experience of working with contract manufacturing. + Experience from the medical device industry and related standards is an advantage. + Experience with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR(EU) 2017/745 and FDA Quality System Regulation is an advantage. + We expect you to have experience from either leading larger projects or managing people. + Very good documentation and communication skills in English are expected.
