As the Head of Technical Services within the Technology Solutions business unit, you will lead and develop a Technology Global Technical Services business covering KBR’s    

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

Focus on establishing and developing the Technical Services business in the next three years with a combination of sales and customer focus, offering development and adaptation and operating efficienciesWorking in tandem with Regional Sales Management and with Technology Verticals management. will provide customer technical services and support which ensures customer success through the whole plant life cycle.The Head of TS will have P & L responsibility for the Global Technical Services business and will report to the Vice President Operations.Develop and implement Technical Services annual operating budget in line with the long-term business plans and strategies of the Technology businessDevelop Technical Services offerings (products) aligned with process technology in its served markets while delivering strong customer value.Establish and measure operational objectives based on utilization, margins, overhead, profit, and other performance criteria appropriate for a start-up businessAttract, recruit, retain and develop Technical Services resources in line with business plan requirements ensuring they have the skills set to take and succeed in a broad range of technical services assignments. Balance execution support from existing offices.Develop a strong client focus within identified key regions and act as the primary interface with regional salesProvide the technical leadership for all Technical Services assignments and ensure the quality standards for the business are achieved and exceeded in each area.Oversee and manage assignment and project risk with respect to solicitation, bidding, and ongoing management of Technical Services through project staffing and executionWork closely with other business groups in the region primarily with other Technology resources ensuring whenever possible a Technical Services assignment results in pull-through of further engineering execution business.   Demonstrate commitment to, compliance with all laws, regulations and corporate policies to ensure the highest of ethics in business conduct including but not limited to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and anti-corruption policiesStrong commitment to safety and the value of safety policies and procedures

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:  

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline required.This leadership position requires a high energy, deep know-how in technical services operations with the proven ability to build and develop a strong business leadership team.Growth-oriented leader with successful P&L background and a proven ability to develop and execute a technical services business start-up planMinimum of 15 years' in front-end consulting, technology or engineering management in the hydrocarbons processing industry preferably with a strong focus on managing service organizations Ability to manage all aspects of business operations including sales, project execution, finance, human resources and legalHands-on engineering experience and familiarity with leading-edge design engineering techniques and methods in the downstream areasExperience with contractual and commercial practices for lump-sum and reimbursable service contractsRisk management skills with the ability to successfully establish and execute consulting contracts through multiple stages of project developmentMust demonstrate a strong record of safety and a commitment to the value of safety measuresMust have a personal commitment to organizational excellence, displaying honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions

Preferred Education & Skills: 

B.S. in Chemical Engineering (or related discipline)MBA (preferred)
