Head Of Transformation

Job Summary

 

Reporting to Head of IT Asia, this role is responsible for leading the transformation in Asia Pacific in close collaboration with the Country Heads of IT in Asia to transform the Asia Target Operating Model. This includes supporting operationalization of OE services into Asia RDC (Malaysia) and completion of “Gearshift 2.0” for residual Asia OEs. Establishment of an appropriate vendor governance model over the Partner supporting the Asia Transformation and for the future RDC and AZAP OE interaction. Allianz Asia is a complex regulatory and multicultural environment, and this transformation is being executed in close partnership with Allianz regional OEs and the AZAP Regional office. The incumbent must be instantly credible and able to build strong and trusting relationships across different stakeholder to lead both Allianz Technology and OE teams through direct and influence management. Robust Change Management / Communication approach to organizational change.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Completion of “Gearshift 2.0” for residual Asia OEs. Consolidating IT Services into RDC Malaysia and outsourcing to the chosen partner as appropriate.  Ensure RDC Malaysia and regional TOM is fully operationalized including Commercial operations. Establish appropriate vendor governance model for the Transformation key Partner for the region both during the transformation and for future steady state run. Development and implement a transformation roadmap for the Operating Entities in region covering both regional and global initiatives (e.g., Asia Regional applications, Enhanced Regulatory, AZT Speed to Value).  Support other key regional transformation initiatives as needed e.g., M&A. Support the annual budget planning process in partnership with Account management, Portfolio management, finance teams and Allianz Technology customers. Create a culture of ownership, customer focus, and a "one Allianz Asia team" within Allianz Asia

 

 

Job Requirements

 

15+ years relevant experience in multi-national organizations with experience leading complex transformation. Insurance company Operations and Technology. IT Shared services experience a plus. 10+ year Commercial model and Finance Transformation experience with deep understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis, Restructuring and Financial operations.  10+ years of scale program management experience managing project financials, demand management, change management, KPI tracking, and reporting alignment within a complex matrix organization. Experience with bid/proposal preparation and the ability to negotiate and manage multi-million Euro service contracts is a must. Experience of Asia markets. Work cultural and Financial Regulatory environments. Excels working in a matrix organization, leading by influence and with a strong track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Tolerance for ambiguity and strong resilience.  Current and solid understanding of current Technology topics and of AGILE and software delivery models. Knowledge of Life and P&C business models. Products, Distribution and Systems Demonstrated success providing innovative solutions to key challenges with the ability to syndicate ideas through senior stakeholder approval.  Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experienced in managing multi-cultural and geographical dispersed teams. Customer-centric mindset; transparent & fact-based. Able to work from Board level and to lead junior teams.
