FTC Head of Trust Product is a player/coach role, which develops FTC’s investment advisory platform and advice eco-system. The Product Leader role is a key role within FTC and will provide leadership and expertise in our platform and product development.
This leader plays a crucial role in driving success and shaping the vision of our business and product offering. You are responsible for developing FTC’s platform and delivering a highly competitive platform for our clients. This includes the end-to-end experience for investment advisors, the product offering strategy and roadmap, due diligence and client onboarding, pricing and go-to-market strategy.
Work closely with the FTC CEO, Head of Proposition North America, and other internal partners to ensure that the platform, products, and services are delivered within FTC’s client and advisor experience needs and expectations.
Role Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and implementation of FTC’s product and platform portfolio (e.g. product roadmaps, competitor analysis). Own the product portfolio, and associated impacts to sales, revenue, and profitability metrics.
Oversee the execution of key projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and with the expected outcomes (project plans, scorecard etc.).
Work closely with clients and partners to define detailed product specifications.
Create and maintain documentation and data for product and client communications.
Help drive client acquisition, retention, and increased share of wallet opportunities through our product and demos of the platform and capabilities for clients.
Review new and existing partners’ products to ensure alignment with FTC’s strategy to meet customer, partner, and regulatory requirements.
Participate/lead in third party contract negotiations and management of contractual obligations
Set and achieve annual goals and targets to grow and transform FTC into a more valuable, key strategic asset for FNZ
Monitor key product metrics and KPIs to assess the success and make data-driven decisions for further improvements.
Actively seek feedback from customers, third parties and internal stakeholders incorporating feedback into product roadmap planning.
Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, provide support, and drive alignment of key initiatives and business goals.
Optimize strategic partner relationships to drive success.
Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
Required Industry Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience in the US wealth management / investment advisor industry.
Deep understanding of US investment advisor and wealth management industry, products, technology and ecosystem, and regulations
Leadership experience in US financial services product management
Experience developing and building strategic product platforms
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
Track record of driving and implementing strategic initiatives.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing complex cross team projects and processes.
Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities, advanced power point skills, and the ability to communicate compelling messages to executives and business partners.
Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach.
