The Head of US Direct Lending is a senior position with our Private Credit team.This role is pivotal in establishing and developing our direct lending business in the US market from the ground up, leveraging our strong brand presence in the region and our existing Direct Lending business in UK & Europe.The successful candidate will be responsible for: As our Head of US Direct Lending you will: + Defining the investment strategy for the US direct lending proposition + Building out and leading a team of investment professionals + Working collaboratively with the Sales team to raise capital from global investors, taking joint ownership of capital raising efforts + Leading and executing the assessment and analysis of transactions for presentation to the Investment Committee + Overseeing and managing the US investment portfolio + Promoting the US direct lending proposition internally with our organisation + Building and maintaining relationships with sponsors, advisors and potential borrowers + Liaising with HSBC Bank on certain origination opportunities and execution + Coaching and developing team members For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $236,700.00 and $355,100.00 The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
