The Head of US Direct Lending is a senior position with our Private Credit team. This role is pivotal in establishing and developing our direct lending business in the US market from the ground up, leveraging our strong brand presence in the region and our existing Direct Lending business in UK Europe. Defining the investment strategy for the US direct lending propositionBuilding out and leading a team of investment professionalsWorking collaboratively with the Sales team to raise capital from global investors, taking joint ownership of capital raising effortsLeading and executing the assessment and analysis of transactions for presentation to the Investment CommitteeOverseeing and managing the US investment portfolioPromoting the US direct lending proposition internally with our organisationBuilding and maintaining relationships with sponsors, advisors and potential borrowersLiaising with HSBC Bank on certain origination opportunities and executionCoaching and developing team members


For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $236,700.00 and $355,100.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
