About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Group Head to lead the Legal Specialty Group (LSG), a vertically integrated commercial and private banking team dedicated to the legal industry.  LSG is within WIM Banking, Lending & Trust and engages with America’s top Law Firms and their Partners to provide Private Banking, Personal and Commercial Lending, and Treasury management products and services that result in a positive client experience helping firms meet their financial goals.  This Senior Leader is responsible for driving strategic growth and client management for the LSG business.

In this role, you will:

Develop holistic business strategyManage full balance sheet, P&L and associated financial and operational risks Manage and develop a national team of Relationship Managers (RMs)Assign accounts and ensure relationships are managed according to customer objectives and company policy and proceduresDevelop new business by consulting with RM's through existing customer base and interaction with external resourcesInterpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsManage allocation of people and financial resources for aligned functional areaMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentManage staff levels including selection and development of staff

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Wealth Management Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of thefollowing: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of Management experience

Legal industry credit and lending experienceThorough knowledge of financial accounting theory and logic, loan structuring, commercial products and servicesLeadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teamsExperience in building strong teams with a culture focused on partnering across groups, customer service and focus on managing a pipelineProven success developing holistic business strategy and driving growthAbility to manage full balance sheet, P&L, and operational riskStrong interpersonal skills and communication skillsSuccessfully completed FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

Job Expectations:

Registration for FINRA Series 7 & 66 must be completed within a 90 or 180-day time period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire.  FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be requiredMay be expected to travel 25% of the timeThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipThis position offers a hybrid work schedule in compliance with FINRA standardsObtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position.  In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
