As the Head of Workplace (IT) for Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for leading the regional Workplace IT team, ensuring seamless IT support and service delivery for internal users across the organisation. This role will oversee IT workplace operations, drive process improvements, enforce global IT policies, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance IT service efficiency.We are seeking a high impact leader with an understanding of the regulatory requirements in Asia Pacific with experience in IP network fundamentals. This is a critical role for FNZ based in our Wellington office and includes day to day leadership of 7 – 10 direct reports all operating from different time zones to service the needs of our internal users. Key responsibilities will include:Lead and manage the Workplace IT team across the Asia Pacific region, fostering a high-performance culture.Ensure the team delivers timely, high-quality support and adheres to best practices in IT service management.Drive regional IT transformation, process optimization, and strategic initiatives.Administer Azure and on-prem Active Directory, including user and group management, group policy enforcement, and identity management.Oversee Microsoft email systems and ensure smooth operation of corporate office applications, including Office 365, printers, desktops/laptops, and mobile devices.Manage and maintain the telephony infrastructure, including Microsoft Teams Calling and Cloud9/IPC for the Securities business.Conduct basic network troubleshooting and escalate complex issues as neededDefine and implement service level agreements (SLAs) to measure IT support performance effectively.Drive automation and self-service capabilities to enhance user experience.What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?Experience in a similar managerial role within IT workplace services.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop & Server products and general infrastructure management.Proficiency in identity management and project management.Understanding of virtualization technologies (ESXi/vSphere) and Active Directory administration.Good grasp of IP network fundamentals and troubleshooting.Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Why should you join us?
