The role
As a Head of Workplace Site Services, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be leading the Babcock Group in the development and implementation of a Globalised Site Services strategy concerned with the built environment Babcock operates in.
Day-to-day, you will be working closely with soft service vendor partners, liaising with end users and reporting to the Global Director of Facilities Management.
The Head of Site Services is responsible for leading this pillar strategically, both tapping into the resources available in Babcock and in the Workplace team to provide a pillar of guidance and support to the operations teams in our locations. Develop and roll out a Food & Beverage strategy which is tiered to make available an escalating breadth and depth of service to suit our local business needs, supporting adjustment at a local level to retain as much global alignment as possible, while ensuring the solution suits the local business. Develop and roll out a Cleaning & Housekeeping strategy which is focused on outcomes and promotes an incentivised and goal driven approach. Ensure the strategy harnesses appropriate technology which collaborates with CAFM and Engineering. Develop and roll out a Front of House strategy which connects intrinsically with Helpdesk and Engineering to provide a solution which represents the ideology of quality Workplace operational delivery, professionalism and capability to do. Collaborate deeply with IT to achieve a leading combined IT/Workplace Helpdesk triage, task management and reporting solution.
This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Head of Workplace Site Services
Considerable experience in a Workplace, Soft Services, Hospitality or Facilities Lead role. Team leadership, direct reports. Ability to work in ambiguous environment. Resilient and positive to making a change.
