The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences has an excellent opportunity for a temporary Head Teacher to work in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist FT CARD staff in supervision of all classroom personnel (teachers/counselors)
+ Responsible for developing all academic curriculum to be used in camp activities (e.g., reading, science, social skills)
+ Assist in data collection and reporting for grant purposes (outcome measures, attendance)
+ Provide small group differentiated reading instruction to campers who score below reading level
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s in Exceptional Student Education
+ Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
+ Certified teacher in elementary education (Florida teaching certification)
+ Experience developing curriculum - this position will be responsible for developing
