Specific Position Duties
Direction, supervision and management of the college’s women’s volleyball program at the NJCAA Division 1 Level under the policies and guidelines of the college, WJCAC and NJCAA; Recruitment of student athletes on a local, area, regional, state and national level; Preparation and management of annual operating and scholarship budget; Participation in fund-raising events and community relation’s activities; Monitoring student athletics in the women’s volleyball program to support academic success; Teaching of academic courses or other qualified activities as assigned; Promotion of the women’s volleyball program and athletics in general in the community; Coordinate and operate at least one 4-5 day volleyball camp in cooperation with Community Recreation office; Participation in the college’s advising, recruiting and retention activities; and Other duties as assigned by the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and/or Chair of the Physical Education Department.
Bachelor’s degree from a regional accredited institution. An established record of successful experience in teaching and coaching volleyball; Demonstrated success in recruiting student-athletes capable of succeeding academically and athletically; and Proven ability to establish positive and effective working relationships with students, administration and community; Ability to obtain a CDL drivers license within first year of employment.
