Job Description

General Summary
Responsibilities include the recruitment and development of players, practice and competition preparation, coaching, scheduling and supervision of program budget and assistant coaches, off-season conditioning program, public relations, fundraising and facility maintenance for program. Will report to the Director of Athletics.
Responsibilities:
+ Coaching at competitions & practices, practice set-up & competition preparations; clinics & special projects
+ Budget management, scheduling of events, supervision of assistant coaches, off-campus recruitment of student athletes, plan travel for away competitions
+ Including but not limited to off-season and pre-season conditioning programs; fundraising: public relations; working with Buffalo Club

Necessary Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ Experience coaching and participating in the recruiting process of college bound student athletes is required.
+ A demonstrable record of success in coaching volleyball for a minimum of four years is required.
+ Valid driver’s license and must qualify to operate a vehicle within the Texas A&M guidelines.
+ Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required.
+ Public speaking experience is required.
+ Ability to pass NCAA Recruiting Test annually.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree preferred
+ Collegiate coaching and recruiting are preferred. Experience in personnel management, fundraising and public relations is preferred.
+ Knowledge of NCAA regulations preferred.
