RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install devices on MDFs and IDFs such as racks, panels, cabinets and all electronics associated with IPTV, RF, Voice and Data. Provide field support in the following areas: equipment delivery coordination, equipment installation of batteries, rectifiers, inverters, patch panels, fiber optic enclosure, UPS Systems, and associated infrastructure used in telecommunications networks. Efficiently coordinate with NOC and other engineering teams. Perform installation, wiring, labeling and configuration of equipment. Ensure proper maintenance of site buildings and grounds. Ensure power systems are functional which includes performing and analyzing battery routines, performing voltage adjustments and PM’s on rectifiers and DC power systems. Repair or replace damaged or faulty items in a timely manner to ensure maximum network availability. Must be able/willing to cross train on other telecommunications equipment that the company may need personnel to install/operate/maintain. Maintain accurate files coming in from the field, file tracking, reporting and attention to detail. Continuously develop skills to advance professionally. Perform other duties and special projects as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
