Due to the retirement of our long-standing Headteacher, the pupils, parents, staff and governors of Newton Primary School are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and committed Headteacher to lead our welcoming, diverse, community-based school during an exciting period of growth and development.

The Role: 

As Headteacher, you will be responsible for leading our school with vision, innovation, passion, and purpose. You will work closely with staff, pupils, governors, and parents to drive high standards and deliver an exceptional educational and holistic experience for every child. 

Your leadership will be focused on: 

Building a Strong School Community: Creating a sense of belonging, inclusion and collaboration among staff, pupils, and parents. Inspiring Passion for Education: Cultivating a love of learning, both inside and outside the classroom, with an emphasis on modern, effective teaching methods. Empowering Staff: Leading by example and providing clear guidance and support to help our teaching team improve their practice and elevate standards across the school. Driving Results: Ensuring that every child, at every level, achieves success based on their individual strengths, talents, and aspirations. Strategic Leadership: Leading the development of a clear and inspiring vision for the school’s future, working alongside all members of the school community to implement the strategy, through curriculum-led financial planning to ensure effective use of budget and resources.
