This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. About the Role:
Create, implement, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and standards specific to data center construction. Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring all personnel are knowledgeable about safety protocols and procedures. Regularly assess the competency of personnel regarding HSE practices and provide additional training as needed.Conduct routine site inspections to monitor compliance with HSE policies and identify potential hazards. Develop and implement audit programs to assess the effectiveness of HSE systems and identify areas for improvement. Implement and track corrective actions based on inspection and audit findings.Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence. Prepare and submit incident reports, including root cause analysis and corrective actions, to senior management and regulatory bodies.Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures tailored to data center construction sites. Coordinate regular emergency drills and simulations to ensure readiness and effectiveness of emergency response plans.About You:
Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably with a focus on data centers or other mission-critical facilities.Proven experience using scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools. Proven track record of successful mission critical facility project delivery.Bachelor’s and advanced degree in project management, construction management, civil engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering (or a related field).Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Project, Primavera, Procore) and other relevant toolsWhy join Cushman & Wakefield?
