About the Opportunity
To lead, plan, and manage the EH&S responsibilities as well as equipment and facilities management within L3Harris SASA, promoting and maintaining safe and reliable equipment and facilities as well as healthy working conditions for employees, with zero lost time injuries.
What the role will involve
Some of the responsibilities of your role will include the following:
Actively manage EH&S policies to ensure compliance with the appropriate regulatory bodiesManage the ongoing improvement of the company’s safety management planEstablish and maintain safety policies, procedures and work instructionsChair safety committee meetings on a regular basis and manage all resultant actions to completionResponsible to ensure workplace inspections are conducted on a monthly basisPerform regulatory reporting for environmental, health and safety as required by local, state and federal requirementsActively lead the investigation of the root cause of industrial accidents and/or illnesses recommending appropriate corrective actions, assuring continued complianceActively participate in quality processes to maintain a safe working environment for members of staff, contractors and visitors when on siteWhat you’ll bring
