Health, Safety and Environment Risk Support Practitioner
**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented Health, Safety, and Environment Risk Support Practitioner to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our corporate office in Atlanta, GA. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** **Enhancing Safety and Sustainability:** By providing hands-on support to regional sites, you’ll help achieve health, safety, environmental, and sustainability objectives, ensuring a safer and more sustainable workplace. **Driving Best Practices:** You’ll lead the sharing of best practices across the region, contributing to standardized solutions for common problems and improving overall risk reduction and proficiency. **Continuous Improvement:** Representing the region in global collaborations, you’ll drive continuous improvement through the development of programs, policies, and procedures. **Coaching and Mentoring:** By coaching sites in implementing hazard and risk controls, you’ll foster a culture of safety and sustainability, enhancing awareness and education. **Audit Leadership:** Leading or participating in regional audits, you’ll ensure sites are prepared and conform to standards, supporting continuous compliance and improvement. **Incident Investigation:** Providing hands-on support for local incident investigations, you’ll help meet reporting obligations and contribute to the development of safer practices. **Supplier and Consultant Management:** You’ll manage and evaluate regional suppliers and consultants, ensuring they meet health, safety, environment, and sustainability standards. **Effective Communication:** Executing communication objectives, you’ll align regional efforts with the global strategy, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all sites. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** **Resilience:** Be prepared to rebound from setbacks and adversity, maintaining a positive and proactive approach even in challenging situations. **Team Building:** Develop strong-identity teams by leveraging diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. **Collaboration:** Build effective partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives, ensuring smooth and productive teamwork. **Effective Communication:** Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications that cater to the unique needs of different audiences, ensuring everyone is on the same page. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree or university equivalent required. Health and Safety and/or Environmental degree preferred. + Significant relevant HSE experience required. 5-7 years of experience. Previous experience working across various countries within the region preferred. Progress toward professional certification, preferred. **Additional Skills:** + Multi-site management experience required + Leadership experience required **Compensation** Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
