Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.Some of the main responsibilities will be:* On-site inspection for Service (ELSE) and Products (ELDS) divisions;* Validation of work procedures and risk matrices* ABRA (Assessment Based on Risk Analysis) and ODI leadership* Supplier evaluation and safety management in the process of contracting new suppliers, in addition to periodic review of existing suppliers* Working together with Electrical Safety Champion and HSE leadership of ABB Chile* Providing support to the EL Service Division in meeting the global challenges of the division.

Qualifications for the role

You have a Professional Degree in Risk Prevention Engineering, with 4 or more years of experience working in similar positions.You have experience in the electrical industry (transmission, distribution, generation) and/or industrial segments with electrical maintenance processes, leading and owning Health, Safety and Environment processes.You possess deep knowledge of NFPA 70E regulations (electrical accident prevention techniques), as well as knowledge of ISO 45.001 and 14.001 norms.You have availability to travel (30% travel and 70% administrative work) as per project and job requirements.You are teamwork oriented and have a disposition to work as a team. You can communicate thoughts and initiatives effectively. You are responsible and accountable, and able to lead safety matters. You are resilient, proactive and upwardly supportive towards management/leadership decisions.
