HSE and Sustainability Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesAs HSE Specialist you will play an important part in our structured Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) related work with focus on occupational health and safety (OHS). You will support and assist managers and employees to create a high-performing safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and company policies within Measurement and Analytics in Västerås. In this role you will interact with several stakeholders and applying your health and safety knowledge to push for improvements in health and safety performance with focus on our factory in Västerås. In this role you will be part of the HSE-team at Measurement and Analytics and report to the HSE Sustainability Manager. • As HSE Specialist you will support managers and employees in OHS related topics such as hazard and incident handling. • You will lead risk assessments and incident investigations to identify root causes and improvements. • Be able to advise and moderate on health and safety issues for both our production and office. • Support managers and project managers to comply with Swedish HSE related laws and regulations, as well as ABB HSE policies and standards. • Conduct trainings for managers and employees to share best practices, tools and processes. • Conduct internal audits and compliance controls. • Handling of documentation and instructions. • Reporting and follow up of KPI’s. • Be passionate about driving our high-performing safety culture to best possible level.
Qualifications for the roleGraduate in work environment, occupational health and safety or similar. Three to five years of experience in a similar role connected to production and/or work experience in similar roles. Be familiar with Swedish laws and regulations, mainly in the field of occupational health and safety. Strong communication skills with both managers and employees. Service minded with high leadership and collaboration skills. Self-motivated with ability to work independently. Structured way of working with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and take actions. Be able to communicate in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. You will use Swedish in your daily work.
