About role :
As a Health, Safety, and Security Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, compliant, and well-maintained workplace. This role requires a proactive leader to drive health and safety initiatives, oversee facility operations, and implement risk management strategies. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage security measures, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to protect employees, assets, and business operations. Your ability to influence safety culture and enhance operational efficiency will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control the Health, Safety, and Environment function to ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.Manage the operational physical environment services across all sites, including routine maintenance, building security, and regulatory compliance.Act as the key interface between sites and related compliance, internal, and external programs.Oversee maintenance contractors, ensuring safety, security, housekeeping, and sanitation programs are adhered to.Coordinate with IT to maintain effective security infrastructure within agreed budget and service levels.Define and implement Site Development Plans and support Business Continuity Management processes.Conduct and report scheduled Facilities, Health and Safety, and Security audits.Develop and implement Health and Safety Management Systems to ISO 45001 accreditation level.Manage ACC claims, light duties, back-to-work programs, and employee rehabilitation in conjunction with HR.Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for facilities and safety standards.Participate in site walkarounds and safety observations to promote workplace safety.Ensure security measures protect personnel, company assets, and customer products.Develop and implement process frameworks for Facilities, Health, Safety, and Environment policies and reporting.Engage with customers and external stakeholders to ensure continuous safety and facility management improvement.What You’ll Bring
Relevant qualifications and/or certifications in Facilities Management and Health & Safety.Previous experience in Facilities Management and Health & Safety within both blue- and white-collar environments.Knowledge of Health and Safety programs and cultural realignment within organizations.Familiarity with Health and Safety Management Systems, including ISO 45001 accreditation.Understanding of the management, storage, and transportation of Dangerous Goods (preferred).Experience with SAP, JDE, or similar systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage compliance with regulations and policies.Experience in budget management, reporting, and project coordination.What’s On Offer
