The role

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll support the safe delivery of one of the UK’s largest and most complex nuclear construction programmes by ensuring compliance, providing expert advice, and promoting a strong safety culture across site operations.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the CommOps team and wider stakeholders to support safe systems of work, conduct inspections and audits, and contribute to the delivery of a collaborative safety-first approach.

Provide competent health and safety advice across the CommOps organisation Ensure compliance with statutory health and safety requirements and identify non-compliances Work with departments to monitor safety arrangements across construction and commissioning Promote and support a positive safety culture across the HPC site Conduct inspections, audits, and review of risk assessments and method statements

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at the HPC project.

 

Essential experience of the Health and Safety Advisor

Strong understanding of occupational health and safety requirements Experience in large project environments with the ability to adapt to change Background in inspections, audits, investigations and health and safety reporting

 

Qualifications for the Health and Safety Advisor

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Level 3 qualification) required NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6) is desirable

 

Security Clearance
