Job Description

Reporting to the Supervisor, Occupational Health and Safety, and working in close collaboration with managers, Occupational Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling activities relating to the prevention of work-related accidents and illnesses for the sites assigned to him/her.

Acts as a change agent for the development of an OHS culture among all managers/employees for all assigned sites.Advises and supports managers in their various OHS matters.Collaborates in the development and implementation of various OHS programs, policies, procedures and tools.Carries out analyses of occupational hazards and proposes preventive measures.Conducts workplace accident investigations and analyses in conjunction with managers, and ensures that the necessary corrective and preventive measures are applied.

QualificationsCollege diploma or university certificate in OHS.Minumum 4 years of experience in a similar position.Knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations.Proficiency in MS Office suite.Bilingualism required.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between company sites.
