Responsibilities:Provide ongoing administrative support to both the Safety Officer and the Projects GroupMaintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of the safety application, as well as all forms and documentation relating to safetyAssist with investigating and reporting workplace injuries and incidentsAssist and attend safety committee and general safety meetingsAssist with completing annual COR auditsAssist with planning and coordinator schedulesAssist with special projects as requiredAssist other departments, including customer support, as requiredOrder office and construction supplies as required
Qualifications:Post-secondary education is an assetConstruction experience is requiredExperience in dealing with a health and safety-related roleA minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, wearing many hatsExcellent organization skills and strong attention to detailExcellent computer skills, i.e., Microsoft OfficeResourceful with problem-solving abilitiesSense of urgency and the ability to adapt to various scenariosA positive and friendly attitude and a strong work ethicValid driver’s license for occasional site work, approximately 10%
