Our client is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the Health and Safety department supporting various teams across offices. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Health and Safety Coordinator
**Location:** Los Angeles, CA
**What's the Job?**
+ Implement health and safety programs in the workplace, ensuring safe working conditions for all employees and compliance with global policies and regulations.
+ Support the implementation of the HSEE Americas health and safety strategy focusing on operations within California locations.
+ Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and lead accident investigations to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
+ Develop efficient communication methods to enhance the health and safety culture across the region.
+ Compile, analyze, and report health and safety performance indicators to promote continual improvement.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
+ Knowledge of applicable corporate, global (ISO), and local health and safety regulatory requirements.
+ Strong influencing and organizational skills with the ability to build relationships across teams.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
