Health and Wellness Project CoordinatorPosition Overview
The Health & Wellness Project Coordinator will conduct research and analysis for projects assigned by the Director – Benefits Strategy. This role is responsible for conducting benchmarking, market and financial analysis for assigned projects, managing ongoing project details and tasks and assisting other members of the Total Rewards team with implementation of approved solutions. This role will act as a liaison for the Total Rewards teams, vendors and internal departments ensuring smooth collaboration. The ideal candidate must be organized, have excellent attention to detail, and must be able to coordinate the responsibilities of cross-functional teams.
They will be responsible for new projects and initiatives by managing ongoing tasks, developing and maintaining the project timeline, leading the development of support and promotional materials for rollout, and tracking measurements identified for success, while driving process standardization and continuous improvement. They will manage day-to-day tasks including gathering and organizing information from content experts and providing updates on all ongoing initiatives for the Total Rewards team, vendors and internal stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct benchmarking, market and financial analysis related to multiple projects as assigned by the Director – Benefits Strategy and initiate and monitor progress.
Follow-up with Total Rewards team members, external consultants and vendors to obtain and consolidate project status updates; provide regular project updates as appropriate.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential third-party vendors, external consultants and internal partners including the Health & Wellness team, Financial Wellness team, HRIT, HR Operations, Corporate Communications, and Shaw Associates.
Collaborate with data analytics to identify opportunities for enhancing program performance.
Assist with the preparation of project proposals to be shared with HR senior management.
Manage multiple projects, and initiate, implement, and monitor changes while providing regular project updates.
Effectively allocate time to complete work and coordinate schedules to avoid conflicts.
Complete project follow-up as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
Limited travel necessary (likely two to four times annually)
Self-starter with the ability to complete assigned tasks with little supervision, making decisions and recommendations based on gathering and evaluating feedback from team members and external partners.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
Exhibits proper time management of assignments and responsibilities, including being organized and task oriented.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions showing good judgment, proclivity to ask for and listen to team feedback, and propensity to act.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Docs, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
High level of confidentiality
Preferred skills:
Experience and working knowledge of health and wellness benefits.
Experience with project management systems (Smartsheets or similar) considered a plus.
